INDONESIAN’S INDEPENDENCE DAY

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb

First, I want to say thank you to Allah, who give me a time to speech in this special moment. Also to Prophet Muhammad, his families, and his friends.

The Indonesian Declaration of Independence was officially proclaimed at 10.00 a.m. sharp on Friday, August 17, 1945. The declaration marked the start of the five year diplomatic and armed-resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia's independence in 1949. In 2005, the Netherlands declared that they recognized Indonesian independence is in 1945, not 1949.

Every year on 17th August, Indonesia’s celebrate the Independence Day. It’s very fun. There are a lot of contest, like Panjat Pinang. And in Istana Merdeka, they are having ceremony. May be, some of you go to have celebrate. You must be spirit in the Independence Day, you look our hero, and they are held the pass to gain freedom. And us, we’re as the student, we have to have spirit to celebrate the Independence Day. If you confess you’re Indonesia’s people, you must care about Indonesia, the Independence Day of Indonesia, and all of Indonesia you must like, because it’s your country.

FISHING IS A GREAT HOBBY
Fishing is a great hobby that many people can enjoy. Folks of all ages and abilities can learn to fish. It’s both relaxing and exciting, and it doesn’t cost much money.
Fishing is relaxing. It is relaxing to sit on the shore of the lake or on a river bank. You can watch the ripples on the water and hear the soothing sounds on the waves. On a nice day, the warmth of the sun and a gentle breeze off the water feels great! It’s relaxing to be outdoors ear the water. Fishing is exciting. Some fish pull hard on the fishing line. They can put up quite a fight!
It is exciting to land a big fish. Sometimes you find a great spot where you look many fish. As soon as you drop your line in the water, you get a bite. It’s exciting to catch a lot of fish in one spot.
Fishing is inexpensive. All you need is a fishing pole and some bait. If you can’t afford bait, go outside at night and look for earthworms, or night crawlers.
Don’t forget to buy a fishing lisence. In minessota, all persons ages 16 and older who want to fish need to have a lisence. It’s the law. If you are stopped by a water patrol officer, and you don’t have a fishing lisence, you could be fined.

The Angels

THE ANGELS
Allah has created everything whether physical or spiritual beings. The angels are spiritual beings created by Allah. The angels are the creation of Allah, they are not his partners. They are his servants created for light. Because the angels are spiritual beings, they are invisible. The angels always obey the commands of Allah and carry out his orders.
There are different angels who are engaged in different duties. Some are engaged in keeping records of all our actions; some others brought the message of God to the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The famous angels constantly oocupied in carrying out Allah’s order are Gabriel, Izrail, Israfil and Mikael.
Belief in angels is one of the pillars of Islamic faith. We have to believe in the angels and it is a part of our belief as muslims. The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was given the power to see and to talk with the angel Gabriel.

Prophet Muhammad (part 2)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD 2
The Arab people were invited by Muhammad to accept Islam. Some responded favorably, but most of rejected Islam. They also turned against him. In 622 A.D. Muhammad migrated to Medina. It was in the 12th year his prophethood. In Medina he was accepted as a leader an Islamic state. There he established the foundations of relation among Muslim people and between Muslim non-Muslim people in general.
The Islamic calendar began from the time of migration. Migration in Arabic is Hijrah. In Makkah he tried to establish a social life among many different people. He invited people to have a belief in one God. Muhammad continued to preach Islam. He worked with unmatched patience and great wisdom.
A short time after his death the message of Islam spread to most parts of the world. Islam contributes to world history. It also contributes to civilization and science, and development. Today, about 1,000 million Muslims all of the world accept Islam.
The Islamic religion was preached by Muhammad for 23 years. He invited us to believe in Allah and to obey him. We have to live in obedience to him alone. We know Allah, the creator, from prophet Muhammad. Muhammad is the greatest benefactor for all mankind. He taught love and brotherhood. He asked his followers to be polite and tobe kind to others. He asked us to love children and to respect elders. He taught us to help one another. He stopped people from doing harm to others. He asked Muslims to be always truthful. He practiced what he preached. He is a good example for our life. The message brought by him is the final message. There is no prophet after Muhammad. We have to follow his teaching.
